Today we began our morning with the Sabbath School lesson entitled "Honest with God"
We have a very special music selection brought to us by our first Hackensack SDA Choir! They have been practicing for weeks and today we hear their beautiful voices!

February is Heart Health Month
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the U.S. claiming approximately 1 million lives annually. "Every year about 750,000 Americans heart attack. Of these 525,000 are a 1st heart attack" (CDC). True or False: If I have never had chest pain, I cannot have heart disease? True: Heart disease may develop over time with no symptoms. As a woman I am more likely to get breast cancer than heart disease? True: Heart disease is a bigger threat to women's health than breast cancer and is the #1 killer among women! Ask yourself: Am I at risk? How can I prevent a heart attack? Know the major CONTROLLABLE risk factors: High cholesterol, high blood pressure, smoking, obesity, diabetes, lack of physical activity. Uncontrollable risk factors are gender, genes and age. Don't worry about the risk factors you cannot change but change those that you can! The Bible mentions the heart over 800 timesand says in the last days men's hearts will be failing them for fear and we are seeing that happen today. Let not your heart be troubled. Ye believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1. Take hold of your emotions, don't let them run wild. Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor, the Great Physician, the Divine Healer, the Chief Cardiologist and when we believe in Him we can take care of any issue.
