That They be One

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. ~ Lamentations 3:22-23
Good Morning and Happy Sabbath Everyone! Today is our second day of Adventurer Camporee! We hope those that went are having a wonderful time. Back at Hackensack SDA Church, We began with our opening hymn #12 followed by our Sabbath School lesson. The special music and meditational selection will be performed by Judith Walters; both performances will be Instagram LIVE. Our Sermon entitled "That They be One" will be brought to us by Elder Jerrmain Clarke which will be Youtube LIVE. Our Scripture reading will be taken from John 17:9-11.

John 17:9-11 King James Version (KJV)

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
We closed with our Hymn #245

Health Nugget: Apricots
Apricots are incredibly high in minerals and rich in beta carotene and are one of the most healing fruits you can eat. They are one of the best sources for organic iron, copper, and cobalt making them very beneficial for anemia, digestive disorders , and reproductive health. Apricots are highly beneficial for autoimmune disorders such as chronic fatigue syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, asthma, lupus, colitis, IBS, and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). They are also wonderful for keeping the heart strong and healthy as well as being a powerful weight-loss agent . Apricot's high concentration of beta carotene makes them an excellent food for disease prevention, especially lung, skin, and stomach illness. And they are very helpful in helping to regrow hairand improve the quality of your hair, skin, and nails. Fresh apricots are always best, but when they are not available, dried apricots are a great alternative. Look for wild and/or organic varieties that do not have any preservatives such as sulfer dioxide. A handful of dried organic apricots each day is a fantastic snack that can help keep you energized and focused throughout the day.
