Count Your Blessings
Good Morning and Happy Sabbath Everyone!
Just a Recap of last week, we had a wonderful Health Expo Event run by Hackensack SDA Church. The community and church interacted and got to know one another as well as our health needs. It was a very spiritual and knowledgeable event. We hope you come next year and learn more!

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. ~ Phillipians 4:13Today we started off with our sabbath school lesson followed by a lovely song service. Our special music & Meditational Selection will be performed by Sis Taylor Hunt; both performances will be on our Instagram LIVE. The sermon today is entitled "Count Your Blessings" spoken by Elder Ricardo McFarlane whic will be on our Facebook LIVE. Our Scripture reading is coming from Matthew 5:3-11.
Matthew 5:3-11 King James Version (KJV)
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

HEALTH NUGGET: Amalaki
Amalaki, also known as amla or Indian Gooseberry, supports everything from digestion to elimination, immunity, and inner and outer skin health. Amalaki supports antioxidant activity and healthy skin via the encouragement of collagen and elastin production. In this way, amalaki supports not only the health of the outer skin, but also the inner skin that lines the gut, respiratory tract, and all the mucous membranes of the body. Amalaki is well-known as a natural source of vitamin C. While many sources of vitamin C-such as synthetic or extracted vitamin C-can cause looser stools at high doses, amalaki, touting a natural, whole form, can support healthy and firm stools. Amalaki is also known to balance stomach acids, improves vison, and promotes respiratory health.
