INTERNATIONAL DAY!

It's the Parade of Nations!
Good morning and Happy Sabbath Everyone! Today we celebrate International Day! Everyone came in all types of colors representing where they came from. We had a wonderful morning parade through Hackensack with the Pathfinders leading the way! There were so many that came to Hackensack SDA Church that we set up a tent outside and filled all the seats! We had a FULL HOUSE! Everyone that came also brought delicious food from their country for lunch and we all had a piece from everywhere! We went Instagram LIVE during the parade so please be sure to check that out if you weren't able to attend. Today our service begins with special music from Foster Sisters followed by a special offering for the Building Fund and Education for our children. Scripture reading was taken from Isaiah 41:8-10 later followed by a meditational selection performed by Kinda & the Foster Sisters. Our sermon today is entitled "Out of Many" spoken by Dr. Weymouth Spence.

Health Nugget: Hypertension
  Blood Pressure often, but not always, rises age we age. High blood pressure (hypertension) is silent, but it rises of heart disease, stroke and other problems. Normal BP is 120/80. Higher than normal is 120-139/80-89. Stage 1 Hypertension is 140-159/90-99. Stage 2 Hypertension is 160+/100+, severe hypertension is 180+/110+ (see a doctor immediately). Tips on how to lower your BP: Eat a nutritious, lower-sodium diet, 2. Exercise & maintain a healthy weight, 3. Avoid smoking, 4. Avoid alcohol, 5. Manage stress effectively , 6. Be sure to take your meds as prescribed and 7. Make sure there is nothing between you and the Savior or your and any other person. ~ John 13:34-35
